We have Based our Materiality Analysis on the SDG Targets.

In an internal workshop series, we have identified our SHOP APOTHEKE EUROPE specific SDG prioritisation on a target level. Ten core departments with diverse business perspectives worked on analysing the SDG targets that are relevant to us - either because we have a positive or negative impact on reaching this specific target or because developments regarding this issue could impact our business model. 

To make this analysis feasible and profound at the same time, we based our approach on the scientific work of Van Zanten and Van Tulder published in “Multinational enterprises and the Sustainable Development Goals: An institutional approach to corporate engagement”. In a next step, we will ask external stakeholders to evaluate our materiality analysis.
