How Technology Ensures that CO2 Removal and Storage Takes Place in Our Projects. 

 is our partner dedicated to forest and biodiversity restoration. By offering carbon credits, 44.moles guarantees the removal of carbon dioxide emissions, enabling partners to actively contribute to forest conservation efforts.

We have chosen three projects from 44.moles to contribute to:

Using modern LiDAR lasers – an advanced scanning technique -, 44.moles is able to scan project areas from within the forests. Based on the laser-born digital forest twins, the structural complexity of the forest is quantified and compared to the forests’ potential complexity. Structural complexity assesses the distribution of mass in 3D space. It is a widely used, holistic parameter, as it correlates with species diversity, adaptability and resilience to droughts and other disturbances. In the final step a BLOC is created. BLOC is short for Biodynamic Long-term Offset Credit. It is equivalent to one ton of CO2 from a sustainably managed forest project. This credit unit links accurate indicators of carbon sequestration, long-term nature conservation and biodiversity.

Now that the meticulous methodology behind 44.moles' projects and the way they use technology to achieve impactful results is clear, let's look at the tangible results of our investment. By purchasing 10,000 credits from these initiatives, we are directly contributing to the removal of CO2, the enhancement of biodiversity and the promotion of social welfare. Here's a run-down of the impact we're making:

Our investment has enabled the removal of 10,000 tons of CO2 in sustainably managed forests. 44.moles commits to preserving the removed tons for the next 99 years on the project perimeter.

Our support will increase the average biodiversity score while expanding the habitat for wildlife as well as trees.

Landscape conditions will be improved for local communities, which encourages sustainable forestry, improved livelihoods, environmental conditions and economic growth.
