Grund zu feiern für SHOP APOTHEKE: Anlässlich der Konferenz „Zukunft Apotheke“ wurde die Online-Apotheke am 7. November 2016 in Frankfurt zur „Versandapotheke des Jahres 2016“ gekürt. 

Leading position confirmed by mail-order pharmacy study 2017.

SHOP APOTHEKE EUROPE secured the top position in the mail-order pharmacy study 2017 conducted by the marketing agency Dr. Kaske, far outdistancing the competition. With very strong scores across all individual categories for the second time running, the online pharmacy outperformed the runner-up by a wide margin and an overall reading of 82 percent. This again underscores SHOP APOTHEKE EUROPE’s leading position in the German mail-order pharmacy market.

The study uses qualitative and quantitative analyses of diverse data to evaluate candidates across the categories price, traffic, service, usability, SEO and advertising subsidies. The individual findings are assigned different weightings and aggregated into a final result. SHOP APOTHEKE EUROPE achieved above average scores across all individual categories with particularly good results in traffic (100 percent), advertising subsidies (96 percent) and SEO (91 percent). It again dominated the field this year, which consisted of 20 analysed competitors.

SHOP APOTHEKE EUROPE generated over EUR 125 million in revenues in the financial year 2015. Headquartered in Venlo (Netherlands), SHOP APOTHEKE EUROPE also has an administration site for its sales and marketing units in Cologne (Germany).

The online pharmacy has been listed on the regulated market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (Prime Standard) since October 2016.
