Dirk Brüse Assumes Marketing Leadership Position at SHOP APOTHEKE EUROPE

As Chief Brand Officer, Dirk Brüse is now heading the transnational brand management of SHOP APOTHEKE. The 41-year-old business economist comes directly from L’Oréal Germany where he successfully established and expanded digital brand communications and the e-commerce business for skincare products in the context of digital transformation.

Previously, Mr Brüse worked for well-known international companies in the field of telecommunications and mobile communications.

In the first half of 2017 alone, consolidated revenues of SHOP APOTHEKE EUROPE rose by 54% to EUR 127 million (compared to the first half of 2016). This makes SHOP APOTHEKE EUROPE the fastest growing OTC online pharmacy in Europe.

SHOP APOTHEKE EUROPE generated sales of more than EUR 126 million in the first half of 2017 and a growth of +54% compared to the same period last year. Headquartered in Venlo (the Netherlands), SHOP APOTHEKE EUROPE also has offices in Cologne, Düsseldorf, Paris and Tongeren, Belgium. The online pharmacy has been listed on the regulated market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (Prime Standard) since 13 October 2016.
