About the role:

As a Senior Mobile QA Engineer (m/f/d), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms. You will work closely with our teams to design, implement, and execute both automated and manual testing processes, ensuring a seamless user experience for our customers. Your expertise will directly contribute to maintaining high-performance, reliable apps that meet our quality standards.

About your tasks:

• Design and execute test strategies: Develop test plans, cases, and automated scripts for comprehensive coverage of mobile app features, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, track, and resolve defects: Detect and report bugs, collaborating closely with developers for resolution and verifying fixes for quality assurance.
• Optimize QA processes and documentation: Improve testing workflows, support CI/CD pipelines, and maintain detailed documentation of test cases and results.
• Cross-team collaboration: Partner with cross-functional team of iOS and Android developers and product owners, while actively engaging in agile ceremonies to align on and meet quality standards.

About you:

• Testing: Solid knowledge of iOS and Android platforms, including UI/UX standards. Skilled in test automation with frameworks like XCUITest, Appium, or Espresso. Strong experience with functional, regression, and usability testing. Proficiency in Postman and REST-Assured. 

• Debugging and CI/CD: Ability to debug using logs and crash reports, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile.

• Communication skills: Excellent collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.

Remote work policy:

Our offices are open, but you are free to work from home, from any location in Germany. It is entirely up to you if you want to pop into the office every now and again, or if you work from home all the time. At the same time, we value relationship between all members of the area and therefore we have regular team and area anchor days on which every team member is asked to come to the office.
